Our tips for choosing the right activity:

Whether you are new to physical activity, or are looking for a new way to move more, there are some simple steps you can take to make sure you choose the right activity for you.

Ask questions and get more information if you need it. For example, you may want to share a health condition you may have, or movements you find difficult. This helps you to check the activity is the right choice.

Check the training of the instructors running the activity. For example, you may want to choose a provider who knows about your health condition.

If the activity involves children or adults at risk, look at the provider’s safeguarding documents to ensure they have things in place to protect you from harm.
